If you simply dislike something, play vanilla or other mods (hundrets and thousands of them there). Hello guys! Just to make it clear nobody was ever forced to use anything created by me and my team or i guess by any other modder. More power to them, but they're not my cup of tea. A lot of people like his "more equals better" approach to TW. Radius' mods don't provide that feeling.įortunately, I don't have to play his mods.
I like mods that extend that "every piece of gold and every soldier counts" feeling that one gets in the early game. That's the fun! The game loses all appeal when I get to a point where I can build and recruit without a thought.
I like making decisions as to where to be strong and where to risk weakness. Personally, the best part of a TW game is when you're dealing with a limited economy and have to make strategic choices as to where to build and recruit. Spamming stacks and refilling the ranks is easy and, for me, BORING. You can go on building and recruiting sprees almost every single turn. He ruins the economic engine by having everyone almost swimming in cash.
As others have pointed-out, he guts the game of what little challenge it offers by nerfing all the things that are supposed to make it more challenging.
